Annual Gymkhana

Open to all current boarders and riders of all ages and abilities, the Gymkhana is an opportunity to connect with our community of riders and their families in a relaxed, non-competitive atmosphere.

Gymkhana games are an equestrian event in which horse and rider demonstrate teamwork, speed, and agility in a series of games.  

At New Moon Ranch we take a non-competitive stance on this classic equestrian event so that students may show their family and friends what they have learned during their time under saddle.

After the games, we take a hay ride to the upper meadow pasture where our advanced riders race for bragging rights – all in good fun! The day is concluded with a warm, welcoming potluck supper followed by an awards ceremony acknowledging every rider’s personal achievement.
